Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia — Under the production of independent record label Multi Swara, Acehnese music group Rumeh introduces their latest release, “Hana Cara,” a heartfelt song exploring the emotions of unspoken love, admiration, and the regret of missed opportunities.
“Hana Cara” tells the story of a young man who secretly admires the woman of his dreams. Despite his deep affection, he struggles to find the courage to express his feelings. As time passes, he continues to keep his emotions hidden, hoping that one day he might finally find the right moment to confess his love.
However, everything changes when he unexpectedly discovers that the woman he has long admired is now in a relationship with someone else. The opportunity he never dared to take turns into heartbreak, leaving him with nothing but unspoken feelings and regret.
Through “Hana Cara,” Rumeh captures a relatable emotional experience, reflecting the reality of those who have loved someone from a distance but never found the courage to reveal their true feelings.
The song was written and composed by Bilal PuepSuloh, who also collaborated with John Lee of Internal Records on the arrangement and mixing. Together, they developed the song's musical character to complement its emotional narrative.
The mastering process was handled by Ayi Suntana, with recording and production taking place at Citra Multi Swara Studio.
Rumeh is a four-member music group consisting of Zarfan on vocals, Azka on keyboards, Putra on guitar, and Ridha on drums and percussion. Through their combined musical talents, the group brings its own interpretation to the emotional story behind “Hana Cara.”
Produced under Multi Swara, an independent record label from Aceh established in 2011, the release reflects the label's ongoing commitment to supporting local musical talent and bringing regional music to a wider audience.
Accompanied by its official music video, titled “Rumeh – Hana Cara (Official Music Video),” the release invites listeners to reflect on the emotions of love left unspoken and the consequences of opportunities that slip away.
With “Hana Cara,” Rumeh hopes to connect with audiences through a story that is both personal and universal, reminding listeners that sometimes the greatest heartbreak comes not from rejection, but from the words we never had the courage to say.
